According to the definition in GB5135.1.3.1, the sprinkler is a kind of sprinkler that starts automatically within the predetermined temperature range under the action of heat, or starts by the control equipment according to the fire signal and sprays water according to the designed sprinkler shape and flow.

Pendent sprinkler: Pendent sprinkler is the most widely used sprinkler. It is pendent and installed on the water supply branch pipe. The shape of sprinkler is parabolic, spraying 80 ~ 100% of the total water to the ground. For rooms with suspended ceilings, sprinkler heads shall be arranged below the suspended ceiling, and pendent sprinkler heads or suspended sprinkler heads shall be used.

Upright sprinkler: The upright sprinkler is vertically installed on the water supply branch pipe. The sprinkler shape is parabolic. 80 ~ 100% of the total water is sprayed downward. At the same time, some are sprayed to the ceiling. It is suitable to be installed in places with more moving objects and prone to impact, such as warehouses. It can also be concealed on the roof in the ceiling interlayer of the room to protect the ceiling with more combustibles. (for places without ceiling, when the water distribution branch pipe is arranged under the beam, it shall be upright type. For parts vulnerable to collision, it shall be sprinkler with protective cover or ceiling type sprinkler)

Sidewall sprinkler: The sidewall sprinkler is installed against the wall, which is suitable for installation in places where it is difficult to lay pipes in space. It is mainly used in light dangerous parts of buildings such as offices, hallways, lounges, corridors and guest rooms. The roof is a horizontal light hazard level, medium hazard level I room and office, and sidewall sprinkler can be used.
