What is a sidewall sprinkler head?

Sidewall fire sprinklers install along walls or beneath beams where ceiling piping is unavailable, or where aesthetic concerns or obstructions weigh against the use of other sprinkler types. Most are designed to protect small rooms, closets, or hallways and have a semicircular deflector that produces a crescent-shaped spray pattern.
What’s the difference between rated working pressure and testing pressure?
Rated working pressure means pressure under normal conditions.
Testing pressure means pressure for strength test of products.
How to choose the fire sprinkler heads?
The selection and application of sprinkler shall be determined according to the fire risk of the protection place, the building structure of the protection space, the characteristics of the automatic sprinkler system, as well as the flow coefficient, thermal sensitivity index RTI and the maximum protection area of the sprinkler. The fast response sprinkler was first used in residential buildings in the 1970s, and then used in warehouses in the 1980s. Its RTI is less than 50 (m * s)½. The side wall type sprinkler is installed against the wall, which is suitable for installation in places where it is difficult to lay pipes in space. Side wall sprinkler can be used in residential (residential and hotel) and office places with light hazard level and medium hazard level I. Quick response sprinklers should be used in medium and light hazard places and places for life protection, such as public entertainment places, houses, atrium corridors, hospitals, wards and treatment areas of nursing homes, collective activity places for the elderly, children and the disabled, etc. According to the specification, the maximum temperature at the general installation site is 30 ℃ + 30 ℃. Some special places with temperature such as kitchen and boiler room need to use 93℃ （200℉） sprinkler heads.
